Drapery Cleaning
On-site wet or dry cleaning for drapes and curtains of all fabrics — no removal required in most cases.
Drapery Cleaning — What to Expect
Drapes and curtains quietly collect years of dust, cooking odors, smoke, and allergens that affect air quality and make even a clean room feel stale. Most homeowners avoid cleaning them simply because removing and re-hanging window treatments is such a daunting task — which is why we bring the cleaning to you.
Our on-site drapery cleaning uses either water-based (wet cleaning) or solvent-based (dry cleaning) methods — both performed while your drapes hang in place. We select the process based on your fabric: wet cleaning for most standard materials, dry cleaning for delicate or water-sensitive fabrics. We finish with professional steaming to restore drape and remove any creases, leaving your window treatments looking freshly installed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our Drapery Cleaning service.
Still have questions?Do I need to take my drapes down to have them cleaned?
In most cases, no. Our on-site cleaning methods are designed to clean drapes while they remain hanging. For very delicate fabrics, heavily soiled drapes, or those requiring special treatment, we may recommend taking them to our facility — but we'll always discuss this with you first.
How often should drapes and curtains be cleaned?
Drapes in living rooms and bedrooms should be cleaned every 2–3 years at minimum. Kitchen drapes, or those in smoking households, benefit from annual cleaning due to faster buildup of grease, smoke, and cooking odors.
Can all types of drapes be cleaned on-site?
Most standard drape fabrics — polyester, cotton blends, linen — are excellent candidates for on-site cleaning. Very delicate fabrics like pure silk or antique textiles may require more careful off-site handling. We'll inspect the fabric before recommending the best approach.
Will cleaning cause my drapes to shrink?
Shrinkage is a risk with certain natural fibers when exposed to moisture and heat. For those fabrics, we use solvent-based dry cleaning instead of water — which eliminates the shrinkage risk entirely. Our technicians identify the right process for your fabric before we start, and will always inform you of any concerns before proceeding.
Can you remove smoke or cooking odors from drapes?
Yes. Odor elimination is one of the most common reasons customers call us for drapery cleaning. We use deodorizing agents specifically effective against smoke, cooking odors, and musty smells, leaving your drapes smelling fresh and neutral.
